Five ways to play the animal quiz with kids
The games take about a minute each, so they fit into the gaps in a day. Here are five ways families use them.
- Guess first, then read. Before you press Guess, ask your child why they picked that spot. After the answer, read the story out loud together.
- Share and compare. The share button copies a row of coloured circles. Post it in the family chat and see who had the best day. Nobody sees the animal names, only the colours.
- Use a globe. After a question, find the answer on a real globe or a paper map. It helps to see how big the world is.
- Play hangman for spelling. In hangman you fill in an animal's name one letter at a time. It is good practice for reading and spelling, and the picture is a clue.
- Settle an argument with higher or lower. Who is heavier, a polar bear or a Bengal tiger? The higher or lower game answers questions like that, with real numbers on the reveal.
There is nothing to sign up for and no chat, so there is nothing to set up. Your scores stay on your own device.
